Austenwood Nursing Home, Chalfont St. Peter

Seven new bedrooms were created within an existing parking undercroft, with four further bedrooms and a dining room being added via an extension. Changes to the internal corridor design has improved navigation through the home and linked what had been disparate communal spaces.

​

A lift was also added to provide easy access to the lower ground floor level and landscaped gardens, which can also be accessed directly from the new bedrooms.

 

Our client was delighted to win the Best Regeneration Category at the Pinders Healthcare Design Awards in 2016.
