The Tom Toya Lewis, Newport
This Wetherspoon pub commemorates the 12 year old ‘Argus’ paper boy who helped to rescue dock workers when the dock wall collapsed on 2 July 1909.
A derelict building requiring substantial remedial and structural works, Scurrs acted as Lead Consultant, leading the client’s team of engineers and specialists to rescue the premises and transform into the comfortable public house it is today. We were responsible for all architectural and interior design services.
