The Glasshouse, Norwich

 

Numbers 11–13 Wensum Street were previously in use as small shops and The Glass House Restaurant; the latter recalling the glass company which had been on this site for several decades.

 

The new Glasshouse unit comprised of an existing three storey Grade II listed building located in the centre of Norwich within conservation area.  This existing building was restored from the existing timber frame through to elements of the interior.  To maximise the site potential a new two storey extension was erected to the side of the listed building, with a single storey element erected to the rear.
