The Windmill, Sydenham

 

The former building on the site was demolished and a new 2 storey building constructed to accommodate the J D Wetherspoon freehouse. It is located in an area of secondary shopping and there are several other traditional type pubs in the vicinity and there is residential and business / office use nearby.

The ground floor is almost entirely customer area and the kitchen, beer store, customer toilets and other ‘back of house’ functions have been located on the first floor.  There is a small external drinking area to the rear of the building at ground floor level.
