The site is located in the established Oxfordshire village of Adderbury within the northern residential area known as Twyford.

Due to be completed in 2016, the Home was developed as a two storey building, with service accommodation located in part of the roof void, forming a unified front elevation street frontage to Banbury Road in which the central core is a strong architectural feature, identifiable through its roof massing, materials and architectural detailing.

 

The site was formerly in agricultural use and the planning application comprised of a detailed submission to the front (care home) portion and outline submission for a care use to the rear.
