Sisters of Nazareth

Founded in the mid 19th century in Hammersmith, London to take care of the young and the elderly. From their foundation in 1864 by Mother Saint Basil their organisation has grown and expanded to be truly international.

The Sisters live and work in Nazareth houses, which provide housing and care, as well as spiritual sustenance for the aged and infirm, as well as young people who are poor and needy. They are nurses, teachers, dieticians, social workers, House Mothers and also clerical workers within their Nazareth Houses.
