J D Wetherspoon plc is a member of the FTSE 250 and owns and operates pubs throughout the UK. The company aims to provide customers with good-quality food and drinks, served by well-trained and friendly staff, at reasonable prices. 

The pubs are individually designed, with a bespoke reponse to the location, and often history, of the sites. Providing interior design, project management and on-site services, Scurr Architects have been involved with Wetherspoon's development programme since 1999.
